Health is one of the core player Stats. It indicates how many health points a player has and how much damage they can take before dying.
Effective Health
Effective Health, or EHP, is the exact amount of
Damage a player can take before dying when taking
Health and
Defense into consideration. It is a useful number to check for when comparing Armor sets and figuring out which one is better than the other.
Calculation
Effective Health can be calculated with this formula:

Using this formula, we can figure out how much Effective Health one would have if they had 1,500
Health and 750
Defense:


This formula can also be used to calculate the exact amount of damage you would take from ❂ True Damage by replacing

Absorption
Absorption is a type of bonus
Health that does not regenerate over time.

Health Regeneration
Health Regeneration, or Healing, is the means of increasing
Health over time, up to the player's maximum
Health value. To calculate the players natural regeneration the following formula is used:
The Multiplier is 1 by default but can be increased by:
+0.5 by unlocking Zombie Slayer level 8
+0.05 per Respite level (if out of combat)
+0.02 per Rejuvenate level
+0.0125 per Life Regeneration level
So for example if the player has 2908 health, while wearing 4 armor pieces with Rejuvenate V and the with Zombie Slayer level 8 unlocked, the following calculation will occur:
- This calculation is done every 2 seconds for all players at the same time.

Health can be regenerated instantly or over time. Various items, Wands, Pets, Armor Pieces, Accessories, and more can regenerate either the
Health of the player using the item, the
Health of nearby players, or both!
