Each Slayer increases in difficulty and requires the player to obtain stronger gear through the appropriate Slayer collections. The player can start a Slayer quest through the Slayer Menu.
Slayers contain token, main, and extra drops. Token drops will drop from each boss and are used in many of the recipes within the respective slayer collections. Main drops are affected by Magic Find and are always accompanied by the token drop while also having a chance for an extra drop. Extra drops consist of the slayer Runes which can drop alongside the Main and Token Drops.
Auto-Slayer is a feature unlocked once all slayer levels have reached 6. This allows the player automatically start a new slayer quest after their slayer boss has been defeated.
The Auto-Slayer system will attempt to withdraw Coins from your purse to fund the slayer but will also attempt to withdraw money from the Bank if the appropriate funds are not available in the purse. If neither source contains enough money for the slayer quest to be started, the slayer quest will not start and the player must deposit funds in order to start a new quest.
The RNGesus Meter is a feature within all slayer bosses that compensates the player based on their luck. The RNGesus Meter increases based on the tier of mob slain and resets whenever the player obtains an RNG drop, such as a Scythe Blade
Whenever the RNGesus meter is completely full, the next boss the player kills will have a guaranteed RNG drop chance and will consist of all the possible drops that the player can obtain from that slayer level.
Aatrox is the mayor dedicated specifically to slayers, their drops, XP rate, and pricing. He is often voted in when he has all 3 of his mayor perks are active as it makes slayers cheaper, faster, and generally more profitable.
