Obtaining

The Dragon Scale has a 30% chance to drop upon killing a Young Dragon in The End, or a 0.1% chance upon killing a Superior Lost Adventurer in the Catacombs.

The Dragon Scale is used to apply the Spiked Reforge to Armor. This requires Mining XX.

The Dragon Scale is considered a 'unique' drop in the Ender Dragon's loot table, and therefore the drop rate is affected by Magic Find.
