The Mushroom Desert is a Location north of the Barn and one of the two Farming Islands. You can access it through the teleport pad in ⏣ The Barn after reaching Farming Level 5.
Purpose
The Mushroom Desert primarily serves as a place to gather various Farming related resources, including 
Sand, 
Cactus, 
Sugar Cane, 
Cocoa Beans, 
Red Mushrooms, 
Brown Mushrooms, 
Mutton, 
White Wool, 
Raw Rabbit, 
Rabbit Hide, 
Rabbit's Foot, 
Raw Beef and 
Leather.
You can also find 
Sheep, 
Rabbits, and 
Mushroom Cows, as well as go hunting for Trapper Animals to collect Pelts.
