The Burning Desert is a location in the Crimson Isle outside of Dragontail.
Purpose
The Burning Desert is the only location on the Crimson Isle where Flaming Spiders and Magma Cube Riders spawn naturally. This means that aside from Faction Quests, this location is the only source of Burning Eyes and Magma Chunks.
Players can also mine lots of Red Sand in this location for Collection, although some of the Dragontail areas may be better suited for this.
