The Blazing Fortress used to be the primary Nether Island where players could fight the Magma Cube Boss as well as any other nether-related monsters. Additionally, players could visit the Blazing Fortress to either get crops or ores.

Purpose

Note: The Blazing Fortress has since been replaced with the Crimson Isle. However, parts of the island can still be accessed from the Deep Caverns.

The Blazing Fortress is a Nether themed combat island, featuring the Magma Cube Boss and nether mobs.

You can mine Netherrack, Glowstone and Nether Quartz in this area. Nether Wart can be found in multiple rooms inside the fortress.

Mobs in this area include: Pigmen, Blazes, Wither Skeletons, Magma Cubes, the Magma Cube Boss, and Ghasts.

Ghasts will only spawn during the night.

Temperature

The Temperature mechanic is used to indicate the spawning on the Magma Cube Boss.

All temperatures:

Temperature	Meaning
Warm	Less than 1 hour before the Magma Cube Boss spawns.
Tempered	Less than 20 minutes before the Magma Cube Boss spawns.
Hot	Less than 10 minutes before the Magma Cube Boss spawns.
Scolding	Less than 2 minutes before the Magma Cube Boss spawns.
Volcanic	The Magma Cube Boss has spawned.

Trivia

• When using a lever (located at X:-308 Y: 113 Z: -676) a hole will open, leading to a Fairy Soul.

April 20th, 2022	Crimson Isle Release	Blazing Fortress removed and replaced with Crimson Isle.
		Added the Kuudra Loremaster, which has an old version of itself accessible on an old version of the Blazing Fortress when accessed from the Deep Caverns.
June 14th, 2022		The old version of Kuudra Loremaster was discovered.
