The Mirrorverse contains seven mirror-related puzzles, some of which grant various Accessories as rewards. The final room also contains multiple rewards.
Within the mirrors, players can view their own reflection, as well as sometimes otherwise-invisible information that is used to solve the puzzle.
1. Four Levers
|The first puzzle has you in a small room with a mirror in the middle. There are four wool blocks on a wall that can be seen reflected in the mirror, but on the reflected side, there are levers on each wool block.
When a player right-clicks on a wool block, the lever shown on its reflected counterpart will be flipped. All the levers must be toggled on for the iron door to the next room to be opened.
After the door has been opened for 14 seconds, it will close, and the levers will reset.
2. Lava Maze
|The second puzzle has you in a room with a stone floor. There is another mirror, and in its reflection, a stone path surrounded by lava emerges. Since you can see your own reflection, you must walk on the stone platform and follow the path shown in the mirror, all while trying to avoid the lava. At the end, you must right-click on the block that has a lever on top of it in its reflection to open the iron door to get the next room.
If you walk on a stone block that shows as lava in the reflection, you will slowly rise up, and a steam sound will play, as if you are actually in lava. If you don't fix your location fast enough, you'll teleport back to the start of the maze, and receive the message "EEK! THE LAVA OOFED YOU!".
You are able to skip parts of the path by sprint-jumping over the lava sections.
3. Crafting Room
|The third puzzle has you in an empty room, but with a mirror that shows various mobs and a Crafting Table. The mobs can be killed by clicking where they are in the actual room, based on their reflection in the mirror, and the same goes for the workbench.
The player must kill the mobs and use their drops to craft a remmaH yniT, and then toggle the lever shown in the reflection next to the iron door to get the next room. This can be crafted with 2 doR gnihsiF (Fishing Rods), 2 Wob (Bows), and 1 Dael (Lead).
The mobs include:
4. Upside-Down Parkour
|The fourth puzzle has you in a large room with a lava floor, a mirror on the top, and countless 2x2 wooden platforms. The reflection on top only shows specific platforms that you can stand on. The other platforms will disappear as soon as you stand on them.
To complete the puzzle, you must make it to the end of the room by following the path shown in the roof's reflection and not falling in the lava.
There is a button at the start that lets you toggle Hard Mode. When enabled:
When you do teleport back, you'll receive a message saying "OH NO! THE LAVA OOFED YOU BACK TO THE START!".
5. Red-Green Puzzle
|This puzzle has three main rooms. The first two are required, but the third one rewards the Big Brain Talisman if you don't skip it.
Each room contains two adjacent mirrors, one is red (off), and one is green (on). Clicking on the currently-off (red) mirror will toggle it on, and the previously-on (green) mirror off.
Each mirror contains specific objects unique to its own reflection, meaning the other mirror does not show it. These primarily consist of pressure plates and buttons.
When a mirror is turned on, your reflection will actively update in it, which allows you to interact with objects in it. When a mirror is turned off, your reflection freezes, and any pressure plates you're standing on in it will stay on, as well as whatever it toggles.
To solve the puzzles, you must utilize mirror-specific interactions and switch between mirrors multiple times until all the iron doors open and you reach the end.
6. Dance Room
|This puzzle requires the player to move between four different blocks in a loop while following instructions that flash on screen. Each block switches every 2 seconds, but the instructions get harder and harder as time goes on. They consist of Move!, Sneak!, Stand!, Jump!, Don't jump!, and Sneak!.
After 8 cycles or 32 steps, a hole appears in the middle, allowing the player to go to the next puzzle. If they complete 12 cycles or 48 steps, the song finishes, and they are rewarded with the Tiny Dancer in the chest down the hole.
|The seventh and final puzzle is a vertical parkour course. The blocks to jump on are invisible, but there are multiple mirrors that show them off.
Players can speak to Dr. Emmett at the start to receive the Emmett Pointer. If you right-click with it while looking at one of the blocks in the mirror, it's physical counterpart you can jump on is highlighted, making it much easier.
There are also 3 checkpoints, each of which has 1 mirror on a different side. You can teleport to these checkpoints when unlocked at the bottom of the parkour. If you complete the entire parkour without using them, you are rewarded with the Miniaturized Tubulator at the end.
8. Reward Room
|The final room lets you speak to Dr. Emmett to claim various rewards, as shown below.|
The final four puzzles grant certain Accessories as rewards.
- The Test Bucket Please Ignore can be obtained by completing the fourth puzzle on hard mode.
- The Big Brain Talisman can be obtained by completing the final optional section of the fifth puzzle.
- The Tiny Dancer can be obtained by completing the sixth puzzle in its entirety.
- The Miniaturized Tubulator can be obtained by completing the seventh puzzle without using any checkpoints.
