Bonus Attack Speed is one of the Combat Stats. It represents how fast a player can attack enemies, which is indicated by how long the enemy is immune to attacks after being hit.

Mechanics

Bonus Attack Speed also decreases the cooldown of shortbows, such as the Terminator, Juju Shortbow, and Artisanal Shortbow. At 0 Bonus Attack Speed, the cooldown between attacks is 0.45 seconds, and at 100 Bonus Attack Speed, it's 0.2 seconds. This means you can shoot over twice as fast at 100 Bonus Attack Speed.

Pets
Pets can increase the bonus Bonus Attack Speed of a player by various amounts and in a variety of ways, weather it be by granting a specific amount of Bonus Attack Speed or a multiplier on top of the player's current Bonus Attack Speed.

Pets that grant Bonus Attack Speed in various ways without including Pet Items include the following:

Certain Armor pieces can grant additional Bonus Attack Speed from either various Upgrades placed on it, one of its abilities, or a full set bonus.

The only type of Armor that grants Bonus Attack Speed in one way or another without any upgrades applied to it is Final Destination Armor.
