Pets

Pets are floating heads that will follow you around everywhere you go, giving you better stats and new perks. Every pet has a connected Skill Type. For Example: Sheep is an Alchemy Pet, while Enderman is a Combat Pet. Once you obtain your first pet you will gain access to the Pets Menu.

Overview

The Pets Menu has a few features, such as turning a pet into an item to sell, editing your Autopet Rules, hiding all pets or simply viewing your Pet Score. Pet Score is gained by collecting unique Pets and higher rarities of Pets, having multiple rarities of the same pet will only grant Pet Score for the highest rarity.

Rarity

Pets can come in the form of 6 different rarities: COMMON, UNCOMMON, RARE, EPIC, LEGENDARY and MYTHIC. However, not every pet comes in every Rarity. The higher the rarity is, the better and more perks the Pet gains. Every Pet has perks, most of them have 3, however some don't.

Upgrading Pets

Most of the Pets can have their rarity upgraded from COMMON all the way up to LEGENDARY by Kat. When upgrading a Pet, the pet will keep all of its Pet Experience, however due to the scaling exp needed the pet will lose some Pet Levels depending on the new rarity. Kat will reduce the amount of Coins needed per Level of the Pet. This discount is .3% per level off the base price. If there is a Material cost that cost will not be reduced by leveling the pet. When in Kat it will take a select amount of time for the pet to be done. The time can be reduced by giving Kat Flowers to Kat, each Flower reduces the remaining time by 24 real-life hours.

Having Kat upgrade the rarity of a Pet requires a certain Taming level.

Crafting Pets

When unlocking a collection you will come across Pets that can be crafted. Crafted Pets always require either an Enchanted Egg or a Super Enchanted Egg. Using an Enchanted Egg grants the chance of obtaining a COMMON, UNCOMMON or RARE Pet, while using a Super Enchanted Egg grants a chance of obtaining an EPIC or LEGENDARY Pet.
Some Pets cannot be crafted using an Enchanted Egg and therefore they don't have a COMMON, UNCOMMON or RARE Rarity of the Pet.

When crafting Pets using Super Enchanted Eggs, Pet Luck will affect the chance of crafting a LEGENDARY Pet. The chance to craft a LEGENDARY Pet can be seen in the following two formulas:

Selling Pets

George who resides upstairs in the Pet House at the Hub Plaza will buy your pets for an amount of Coins. The amount of Coins increases based on the Pet's Rarity, Pet Level does not matter.

Leveling

All Skill Experience you obtain (excluding Taming, Dungeoneering, Runecrafting, Carpentry or Social Skills), will turn into Pet Experience for your equipped Pet.
If an Exp Share is used then 25% is taken before the modification system. After the modification, the 25% is shared across all pets that have an Exp Share item.
The gained Pet Experience will be applied before the Modification System takes place.

• When Mayor Diana's Perk: Pet XP Buff is active.
  
• When the Player receives a different Pet XP buff like a Skill Boost Pet Item.
  

Modification System
-If the Skill Experience gain is from Fishing or Mining you will gain +50% Pet Experience.
-If the Skill Experience gain does not match the Pet type, then the Pet Experience gain will be divided by 3x, unless it is Alchemy or Enchanting then it will be divided by 12x.
-If the player is leveling a Reindeer Pet then the Pet Experience will be doubled.
The resulting Pet Experience will be added to your Pet.

Taming
Taming Experience gained is 25% of the Pet Experience, however if it is Alchemy, the Experience gained will be 2.5% instead.

Once a pet reaches a certain Experience threshold the Pet will Level Up.

There are multiple tiers of Carrot Candy with each giving more Pet Experience, this Pet Experience is not affected by the Pet's type or other Multipliers.
