Pristine is one of the Gathering Stats. It represents the percent chance to drop an additional higher quality Gemstone when one is dropped.
Mechanics
Since Gemstones drop its rough variant when mined, Pristine grants an additional flawed Gemstone, which is the tier after rough.
Mining Fortune is applied after Pristine is applied when Mining. For example, if you have 200 Mining Fortune for 3x drops and 5 Pristine, every Gemstone obtained from mining has a 5% chance to grant 3 flawed Gemstones. This is because Pristine would already grant 1 additional Gemstone, but with the 3x drops from the 200 Mining Fortune, this gets increased to 3.
Increasing Base Pristine
Every player has 0 base Pristine. This value cannot be increased.
Increasing Bonus Pristine
Bonus Pristine can be increased in a variety of ways:
- Pets
- Armor
- Gemstone
- Enchantments
- Accessories
- Tools
Pets
Pets can increase the Pristine of a player by granting a multiplier on top of the player's current Pristine.

Armor
Certain Armor pieces can grant additional Pristine from Topaz Gemstones. There are no armor pieces that grant Pristine on their own.

Topaz Gemstones can be applied to various items to grant an amount of Pristine dependent on the tier of the Gemstone and the Rarity of the item its being applied to.
Topaz Gemstones are half as effective when applied to the Artifact Of Power.
