Health is one of the Combat Stats. It indicates how many health points a player has and how much damage they can take before dying.
Mechanics
Effective Health
Effective Health (or EHP) is the exact amount of Damage a player can take before dying when taking Health and Defense into consideration. It can be calculated with this formula:
For example, having 1,500 Health and 750 Defense results in 12,750 Effective Health.

Certain Weapons can grant additional Health from either various upgrades placed on it or one of its abilities.
Currently, the Daedalus Axe is the only weapon that can grant Health without any upgrades. And while it doesn't give Health on its own, because it copies the stats of your selected Pet, it does if the pet grants Health.
