Obtaining

Fermento has a 0.005% to 0.007% chance to drop while wearing Squash Armor or Fermento Armor and farming Sugar Cane, Cactus, Nether Wart, Red Mushrooms, or Brown Mushrooms.

Usage

Fermento is used to craft a Condensed Fermento and Garden Sack.

Up to 21 Fermentoes can be used to purchase each Composter Upgrade, between tiers 20 and 22 for each one, which adds up to 110 across all five upgrades.

They can also be used on the Garden to fill the Composter with 20,000 Organic Matter each.
