Vanilla Redstone Items are blocks or items obtained mostly through vanilla Minecraft mechanics. They have the vanilla Minecraft crafting recipe and can be used for decoration or in Redstone contraptions on the Private Island. These blocks can also usually be obtained from the Mad Redstone Engineer. Crafting recipes for these blocks do not need to be unlocked.
Redstone Limit
While Redstone contraptions can be built on your Private Island, their functionality is limited. Some Vanilla Redstone Items are disabled, while others work so long as a set Redstone Limit is not reached. When using Redstone, a line will appear on your scoreboard displaying Redstone usage. For performance reasons, if this hits 100%, all Redstone functions on your island will be temporarily disabled.
The following message is received in chat upon reaching the Redstone limit:
"You reached 100%! Redstone is limited in SkyBlock for performance reasons."
Vanilla Redstone Items
Most Vanilla Redstone Items can be purchased at the Mad Redstone Engineer in the basement of the Builder's House.
