The '''Kuudra''' boss fight takes place in the [[Kuudra's Hollow]], as seen in the image. There are multiple different phases of the fight, depending on the tier you play in.

=== Phase 1 - Supplies ===

The first phase of the boss fight involves you and your team reeling in and fishing up six different chests of supplies from the lava and bringing them over to the center of the platform. These chests can be seen on the water and spawn in various pre-defined locations, with a tad bit of randomness. Most of these locations are near the quartz-made shapes embedded into the platform.

These chests take longer to fish up depending on the tier of the fight you are playing in, though the {{Image|Minecraft/items/chest.png|25px}} '''Steady Hands''' perk from {{Image|Minecraft/items/diamond_sword.png|25px}} {{color|red|'''Specialist'''}} route allows you to pick up these chests faster.

While fishing up a chest, if you move significantly, you will stop picking them up. Nearby Kuudra tentacles will often try and grab you after a few seconds as well, which will stop you from fishing up the chest.

When you are holding the chest, you can not use any abilities or switch hotbar slots to hold another item. The chest will "drop" back into the lava if you take too long to bring it to the center or take too much damage.

=== Phase 2 - Building the Ballista ===

The second phase of the boss fight requires you to build the '''Ballista''' using the six piles of supplies brought to the center. The Ballista is a giant bow that you primarily use to attack Kuudra. You can turn the piles of supplies into blocks by '''sneaking''' and {{Color|yellow|left clicking}} the piles. Once all piles have been used up and the Ballista is built, the next phase begins.

There is a progress bar above each supply pile that represents how much of it has been depleted into the build. Nearby humanoid [[#Mobs|mobs]] try and attack the Ballista, which in turn break blocks and decrease this percentage back down to 0%. These mobs include '''Blazing Golems''', '''Blights''', '''Explosive Imps''', '''Kuudra Berserker''', '''Kuudra Follower''', '''Kuudra Knocker''', and '''Kuudra Landmine'''.

The third phase of the boss fight is similar to the first one, but instead of you fishing up supplies to build the Ballista, you fish up {{Color|green|Ballista Fuel Cells}} to use it. You only have to fish up 4 fuel cells, compared than the 6 chests from the first phase.

Once all four fuel containers have been brought to the Ballista, you can get on it and shoot at Kuudra, so long as they aren't submerged or are about to submerge.

After shooting Kuudra, they will temporarily submerge, unless two things happen:
* If you are in '''Infernal Tier''', Kuudra's health reaches roughly {{Color|red|25%}}, and the next phase begins.
* Otherwise, their health reaches {{Color|green|0%}}, and the run finishes.

If you are playing in '''Burning Tier''' or above, you have to '''stun''' Kuudra first in order to shoot them. If you don't do this, they will take very little damage and Kuudra will near-instantly submerge.

As mentioned above, playing in '''Burning Tier''' or above requires you to stun Kuudra to shoot them with the Ballista.

To stun Kuudra, you have to enter their stomach and break one of the orbs. There are two ways of entering their stomach:
* You can purchase a {{Image|SkyBlock/items/human_cannonball.png|25px}} '''Human Cannonball''' upgrade from the shop, allowing you to fire yourself into Kuudra's mouth
* You can stand on the {{Color|red|Kuudra Consumption Zone}} by Kuudra, after which Kuudra will swallow you using one of their tentacles.

All three pods have a {{Color|red|Health Bar}} that starts at {{Color|green|100%}}. Breaking a block of the orb reduces its health by {{Color|red|5%}}. The block will not disappear when it is broken.

After some time, a bunch of '''Magma Bacteria''' mobs will spawn, which will fire projectiles at you through blocks that knock you back, making it harder to destroy the orbs.

If Kuudra submerges, their stomach will quickly start filling up with lava, and you will get launched out. You can also teleport up to the entry point to exit their stomach, which is indicated by a series of miniature orb-like tentacles that are hard to miss. Magma Bacteria persist once their stomach is available for re-entry.

=== Phase 4 - True Lair (Infernal) ===

The '''Infernal Tier''' of the fight has an additional tier which begins once Kuudra's {{Health}} reaches roughly {{Color|red|25%}}. 

First, the center of the platform will collapse, revealing a large pit with lava walls. Wandering Blazes will then spawn towards the top of the pit, which kill any players above them.

This phase is primarily based on you dodging Kuudra's tentacles and shooting Kuudra's head as they peak out of the lava walls. Like in the other phases of the fight, the tentacles form blocks on the ground to indicate their path, which start from a green color and slowly turn into a red color. Once the path turns red, the tentacle will slam onto the ground, instantly-killing any players under them.

Every so often, various parts of the platform will also undergo this effect as well, albeit without the tentacles or slamming attack, but still with the instant-killing mechanic. A large part of the fight is based on avoiding standing on red blocks and getting instantly killed, which can be tricky as often times most of the platform is under this effect.

TNT will also sometimes spawn in a circular pattern, killing nearby players on detonation.

Additionally, all deaths in this phase are '''Final Kills''', unless you have a player alive that went the {{Image|SkyBlock/items/support_route.png|25px}} {{color|green|'''Support'''}}, in which they can respawn you using {{Color|dark_purple|Tokens}}.

== Tentacles ==

Kuudra has around a dozen '''tentacles''' that attack players throughout the fight. They can also pick up players and launch them in various ways. These tentacles can be damaged most effectively with [[#Cannons|cannons]].

When a tentacle performs an attack, it will start by forming a path and then slowly turning that path from {{Color|green|green}} to {{Color|yellow|yellow}} to {{Color|red|red}} blocks. Once the blocks turn red, the tentacle will slam into the ground, damaging players in the path for significant {{Damage}}.

Tentacles will often attack players who are picking up [[#Phase 1 - Supplies|supplies]] or [[#Phase 3 - Fuel|fuel]], but only if a player is nearby. That's why it's often advised to pick up these things when there are no tentacles around, or if they haven't spawned yet, such as in the first few seconds of the fight.

Over the course of the fight, Kuudra will spawn mobs. Many of them have different attacks and mechanics that you should watch out for.

=== Waves ===
The Kuudra fight works partially on a wave system, which increases at a steady rate on a timer. There is less time between waves in harder rounds. You can view the current wave by looking at your in-game scoreboard.

Certain mobs only spawn on certain waves, such as the {{Lv|100-500|Chaosmite}}, or more of them spawn as the waves get higher, such as Dropships. However, most mobs spawn fairly consistently, like the ones listed below.

It's generally advised to try and reach as low of a wave counter as possible, but [[Vulcan]] does sell a perk for {{Crimson Essence}} that increases the {{Damage}} you deal depending on the highest wave you've reached in the tier you are playing in.
