Ender Dragons are bosses that can be spawned in Dragon's Nest within The End after the required Summoning Eyes are placed.

Location

At the center of the Dragon's Nest, there's an altar. Placing 8 Summoning Eyes - one in each socket, will summon one of 7 [Lv100] Ender Dragons.

Behavior

Once 8 Summoning Eyes have been placed, several things will happen in the following order:

• The gate to the Dragon's Nest will close.
• Gregory will spawn near the gate, allowing players to purchase Flint Arrows and a Decent Bow for an increased price.
• The Dragon Egg will explode, revealing the Ender Dragon to be fought.

Ender Crystals

Once the Ender Dragon spawns, 5 Ender Crystals will spawn in any of the 10 fixed locations. Each Ender Crystal heals the Ender Dragon for 0.3%Protector: 27,000 HP
Old: 45,000 HP
Strong: 27,000 HP
Protector: 27,000 HP
Superior: 36,000 HP
Wise: 27,000 HP
Unstable: 27,000 HP
Young: 22,500 HP
of its maximum Health, as long as it is connected to the Dragon, every second.

Ender Crystals use basic rules to determine if they should tether with the Ender Dragon:

• Every tick, there is a 10% chance that the Ender Dragon re-calculates which crystals should be connected or not.
• If a crystal is within 32 blocks of the Dragon, it creates the tether. Otherwise, the connection ends.

If an Ender Crystal is destroyed by a player, a Crystal Fragment is dropped (or given to the player if they have the Auto-pickup perk unlocked), and they are credited with 1,000 Damage dealt to the dragon. This damage does not actually hurt the dragon.

Ender Crystals respawn between 60 and 120 seconds after being destroyed. Crystals can only spawn up to a maximum of 3 times each.

Abilities

Ender Dragons have a variety of abilities that they will use throughout the fight. Typically, an Ender Dragon will spend the majority of its time flying around in the sky, giving time for players to attack them.

When they are below half health, attacks will deal +50% more damage.

Fireball	The dragon will stop and unleash a barrage of fireballs, dealing damage and knocking players up into the air. Flame particles appear at the dragon's mouth for a second before the attack starts.	1,500 Damage 20% True Damage

Call For Help	Hostile Zealots will be spawned near various players, and existing nearby Zealots will be hostile as well.	N/A
Collision	The dragon deals damage to players that collide with it.	50% + 2,000 Damage
Implosion	Upon death, explode after a short delay, dealing damage to players near the location of death (usually near the dragon's loot).	2,000 Damage

• Only the Unstable Dragon has this ability.

Once the Ender Dragon is defeated, Gregory leaves, and all hostile mobs are removed for a brief period of time.

Loot

The formula for calculating Quality (also what the community refers to as weight) is as follows: ${\color {Gray}TotalPlayerQuality=BaseQuality+(100*({\frac {DamageDone}{FirstPlaceDamageDone}}))+(100*EyesPlaced)}$

Alternatively:

• Every Summoning Eye placed grants 100 Quality.
• You gain up to 100 Quality based on damage dealt compared to the top damagere.g. 1st place damage is 5mil, you do 4mil
  This would reward you with 80 Quality..
• Based on the table below, you gain up to 200 additional Quality.

All players who qualify for each unique item get a chance at that item. If more than one person got the item, only one of them will get it, chosen randomly but each player is equally likely. Unique items are rolled from top to bottom (in terms of the drop table below).

Getting a Unique Item removes that item's Quality from your total Quality, and disqualifies you for the remaining unique items dropped in that fight.

Once all Unique Items are rolled, the remaining quality for all players is filled with the non-unique items, in descending order of quality.

When a player is rolling for an item, the item's drop rate is multiplied by $\color {Gray}1+\left({\frac {MagicFind}{100}}\right)$ However, if the item is a Pet, then the multiplier is $\color {Gray}1+\left({\frac {MagicFind+PetLuck}{100}}\right)$

Trivia

• Because the Superior Dragon has an extra available dropDragon Horn, which rolls before the Ender Dragon Pet does, the pet actually has a significantly lower chance of dropping.
  • Having at least 234 Magic Find will guarantee a Dragon Horn drop, which makes it impossible to roll any other drop in the table.
• Sometimes, the dragon will stop moving or cast abilities while outside of the Dragon's Nest.
• Provided no one that places any eyes does, the person who achieves #2 damage dealt will always drop a travel scroll - as long as they deal at least 75% of #1 damage.
• Despite popular belief, loot quality from eyes is not capped at 400.
