Dungeoneering is one of the 12 Skills players can level up as they earn Dungeoneering XP.
Dungeoneering
Dungeoneering is the main skill brought forth in the Dungeons update.
Dungeoneering has several sub-skills in it; one for each dungeon, and one for each Class:
Players can access each class, access the dungeons sub-menu, and check how much Essence they currently have, by clicking on the Dungeoneering skill.
Classes
Each class has Passive Abilities, Dungeon Stone Abilities, and Ghost Abilities. Along with this, each class can be leveled up to level L (50). After reaching level 50 the stats stay the same; however, every 200 million XP the player will reach a new level.

Dungeons
Each Dungeon has its own Dungeoneering Level. Increasing the Dungeoneering level increases the stats of Dungeon Items in the respective Dungeon. At Dungeoneering 50, items are increased by 465%.

Your Essence
Essence is used to craft new items with Malik the Blacksmith.
The types of Essence are:
- Dragon
- Diamond
- Gold
- Ice
- Spider
- Undead
- Wither

Dungeoneering XP Gain
Dungeoneering XP can be earned by participating in or completing Dungeon runs. Currently, there is only one type of Dungeon in SkyBlock, that being the Catacombs. However, if more do get released, you'll gain Dungeoneering XP for the specific type of Dungeon that you are playing in.

Maximizing XP Gains
There are two primary ways for a player to increase the amount of Dungeoneering XP they gain.
- The EPIC Catacombs Expert Ring grants +10% Dungeoneering XP in the Catacombs.
- Playing on higher Catacombs floors
- The higher the floor you play on, the more Dungeoneering experience you'll gain.
Trivia
- Reaching Catacombs level 40 will grant the True Adventurer Achievement.
