The Deep Caverns is the second Mining Island which has 6 layers, each with different ores and mobs.

Purpose

The Deep Caverns is the second Mining Island which can be accessed from the Gold Mine.

It contains various Zones in the form of 6 layers that get progressively more dangerous the further down the player goes. Each layer contains different types of resources, ores and mobs.

Various NPCs are found in the Deep Caverns. Most notably is the Lift Operator, who allows players to travel between the layers of the island if they have visited these zones once before.

Strange Occurrence

The Deep Caverns island type is different from other islands in that all of the surrounding islands are months to years outdated. This means that with teleportation and flight items, you can access parts of the Blazing Fortress (which has no functionality), where the Kuudra Loremaster can be found on it once a week.

Trivia

• Due to players dying & sometimes skipping the Deep Caverns layer progression, the sides of the lift near the Lift Operator had to be sealed off with barrier blocks.
• The strange occurrence mentioned above is talked about by Mazakala on the Crimson Isle.

April 20th, 2022	Crimson Isle Release	Added the Kuudra Loremaster to the outdated Blazing Fortress, which can only be accessed from flying from the Deep Caverns.
June 14th, 2022		The Kuudra Loremaster was discovered in the Blazing Fortress when accessed from the Deep Caverns.
