Crit Chance

Crit Chance is one of the Combat Stats. It indicates the odds of landing a critical hit, which will add Crit Damage into the Damage Equation increasing the final damage dealt by the player significantly.

Damage Calculation

For example, if the player has +100% Crit Damage and usually deals ✧10,000 damage to a mob on a non-critical hit, then when a critical hit lands the Crit Damage multiplier will be added to the Damage Equation: (${\color {Gray}(1+\left({\frac {\color {Blue}{\mbox{☠ }}CritDamage}{100}}\right))}$) and the damage will be multiplied by x2 times! This will make the final damage to show up in white, yellow, orange and red (✧20000)

There is no actual reason to have more than +100% Crit Chance, unless the player wants to receive bigger bonus effects from enchantments like Overload.

Increasing Base Crit Chance

The base Crit Chance of every player is 30% by default. It can be increased in two ways:

Combat Level	+0.5% Crit Chance per level Up to +30% Crit Chance	Combat levels up by killing Mobs and grants +0.5% Crit Chance per level. This adds up to +30% Crit Chance at Combat 60.
Spider Slayer	+1% Crit Chance	Spider Slayer Level 7 grants +1% Crit Chance.

Increasing Bonus Crit Chance

The Bonus Crit Chance of a player can be increased in a variety of ways:

• Pets
• Armor
• Weapons
• Reforges
• Enchantments
• Accessories
• Accessory_Power
• Other

Pets
Pets can increase the player's Crit Chance by various amounts, depending on how much of it the pet grants its user on top of their base Crit Chance and/or the multiplier that it has, which can boost the Crit Chance by a certain percentage.

Pet Items
Pet Items can be applied to Pets to grant additional Crit Chance:

Gold Claws	UNCOMMON	Gold Claws can be applied to a pet, when applied it increases the pet's Crit Damage by 50% and Crit Chance by 50%.
Minos Relic	EPIC	Minos Relic can be applied to a pet, when applied it increases the pet's base stats by 33.3%.

Armor
Certain Armor can grant its wearer additional Crit Chance from its base stats.

Enchantments
Certain Enchantments can increase player's Crit Chance by either a specific amount or percentage:

Overload	Increases Crit Damage by 1-5% and Crit Chance by 1-5%. Having a Critical chance above 100% grants a chance to perform a Mega Critical Hit dealing 10-50% extra Damage.

Crit Chance Enrichments can be applied onto LEGENDARY and MYTHIC talismans giving them +1 Crit Chance per piece.

Beacon	+1% Crit Chance per level Up to +5% Crit Chance	A Beacon 1 grants +1% Crit Chance, and this scales all the way up to a Beacon 5, which grants +5% Crit Chance.
Critical Potion	Up to +25% Crit Chance	The Critical Potion has 4 different tiers, with it granting +10/15/20/25 Crit Chance depending on the tier.
Jalapeno Book	+1% Crit Chance	When combined with a Deployable, grants +1% Crit Chance.
Tuning Points	+0.2% Crit Chance per point	1 Tuning Point grants +0.2% Crit Chance per point.

Decreasing Bonus Crit Chance

The bonus Crit Chance of a player can be decreased in one way:

June 11th, 2019	SkyBlock Release	Crit Chance Added.
July 1st, 2020	0.7.11	Crit Chance removed from almost all Accessory Reforges (except unpleasant), but a lot easier to get on armors and weapons. The Base Crit chance of players is now buffed up by 10% (from 20 to 30%). However the Combat skill now rewards only +0.5 Crit Chance per level, instead of +1 Crit Chance.
