Coins | |
---|---|
Category | Currency |
Coins are the most common currency used for buying items.
Gaining Coins
Coins can be obtained from a multitude of sources such as, but not limited to:
Source | Description |
---|---|
Killing Mobs | Most Mobs in SkyBlock will drop a set amount of Coins when killed. |
Scavenger Enchantment | The Scavenger Enchantment can be applied onto Swords and will grant additional Coins when killing Mobs, depending on the level of the mob. |
Spooky Festival | Competing in the Spooky Festival will grant Coins to players, depending on how well they did. |
Selling Items | Some items can be sold directly to certain NPCs for Coins. Additionally, most items can be sold on the Bazaar or Auction House directly to other players. |
Trading with players | Coins can be traded directly between players. |
Digging up Griffin Burrows | Digging up Griffin Burrows during the Mythological Ritual has a chance to grant large amount of Coins. |
Accessories | Various Accessories, such as the Talisman Of Coins or Emerald Ring, will passively grant Coins over time. |
Losing Coins
Other from being manually spent, Coins can be lost when dying in most situations in SkyBlock. Exceptions include:
- Falling into the void on the Private Island, and not from a Mob pushing you off
- Dying from the Trial Of Fire
- Dying in Dungeons
With that in mind however, there are many ways to reduce the amount of Coins lost in these situations, either partially or entirely:
Method | Information |
---|---|
Phoenix Pet |
The Phoenix Pet ability Eternal Coins allows players to not lose Coins when dying. |
Booster Cookie |
While active, the Booster Cookie reduces the amount of Coins lost on death by 100%. |
Piggy Bank |
The Piggy Bank reduces the amount of Coins lost on death by 100%, but only if the amount of coins is above 20,000 Coins and if the Piggy Bank is directly in the player's inventory. |
Cracked Piggy Bank |
The Cracked Piggy Bank reduces the amount of Coins lost on death by 75%, but only if the amount of coins is above 20,000 Coins and if the Cracked Piggy Bank is directly in the player's inventory. |
Bank Enchantment |
The Bank Enchantment, which can be applied on Armor, reduces the amount of Coins lost on death by 10% per level. This maxes out at 100% if enough levels of Bank are applied across Armor pieces. |
Wolf Slayer LVL 8 |
The perk unlocked from Wolf Slayer LVL 8 reduces the amount of Coins lost on death by 5%. |
Usage
Coins can be used for transactions such as selling items on the Auction House / Bazaar, buying items from NPC's, or buying items directly from other players. They are also used to pay taxes on the Bazaar and the Auction House.
Trivia
The texture used for Coins varies on the amount of coins as well as the situation at hand: <tabber>
