Weapons are items whose purpose is to cause harm or damage to enemies.
Overview
Weapons are items that consist of Swords and Bows that have the purpose of dealing damage to enemies. The player can utilize these Weapon's Stats, Item Bonus, and any other benefits they might have.

Upgrades
The Stats and overall capabilities of Weapons can be upgraded in various ways. Below is a brief description of all possible Weapons upgrades.

Some Weapons can have stars applied onto them, which increase their Stats by 2% for each one applied. Others can be converted into Dungeon Weapons using Essence, allowing you to also apply Master Stars which increase the item's effectiveness while in Dungeons. |

Enchantments improve the overall effectiveness of your Weapons by increasing its Stats and adding extra utility, such as self-healing or applying debuffs to foes. You can enchant your items directly using an Enchantment Table, or by combining your item with an Enchanted Book in an Anvil.
Ultimate Enchantments appear as bold pink text on your item, below its stats. Regular Enchantments appear as blue text, immediately after the applied Ultimate Enchantment if applicable.

Reforges directly increase the Stats of your Weapons, and sometimes provide additional bonuses.
Basic reforges can be applied to your item at the Blacksmith in the Hub for Coins, while more advanced reforges require a Reforge Stone and Reforge Anvil to apply. You can only apply a single reforge to any given item at a time.
Reforges appear in front of your item's name. If it includes a reforge bonus, that bonus is displayed above the Rarity tag.

The Recombobulator 3000 increases the Rarity of your Weapons by one, which allows for other upgrades to grant more Stats.
You can recombobulate your item by combining it with a Recombobulator 3000 in a Reforge Anvil, or by talking to Malik. Items can only be recombobulated a single time.
You can differentiate recombobulated items by the Rarity tag.

Both Hot Potato Books and Fuming Potato Books directly increase the Stats of your Weapons by +2 Damage and +2
Strength.
You can apply Potato Books to your items with an Anvil. Only 10 Hot Potato Books can be applied to any given item, while 5 Fuming Potato Books can be applied above that to a maximum of 15 total books.
Potato Book bonuses appear as a yellow (+20) next to your item's Health and
Defense Stats.

The Art Of War directly increases the Stats of your Weapons by +5 Strength.
You can apply The Art Of War to your items with an Anvil. The Art Of War can only be applied to an item once.
The Art Of War's bonus appears as a gold [+5] next to your item's Strength Stat.

Gemstones directly increase the Stats of your Weapons, however only items with Gemstone Slots can utilize them. The following stats can be increased by gemstones: Strength,
Health,
Defense,
Intelligence,
Mining Speed,
Mining Fortune, and
Pristine.
You can unlock and apply gemstones to your items at the Gemstone Grinder in the Dwarven Mines.
Gemstone slots can be seen under the stats of your items. The symbol determines the slot type, the symbol's color determines the equipped gemstone for that slot, and the bracket's color determines the rarity of said equipped gemstone.

Power Scrolls can only be applied to Weapons with a RIGHT CLICK Item Ability. They have varying effects, usually granting minimal increases to your Stats on ability use.
You can apply a Power Scroll to your item with an Anvil. Only a single Power Scroll can be applied.
They appear as a ⦾ icon next to the Item Ability, colored depending on the specific power scroll used.

Essence Upgrading (Item Stars)
You can use Essence to upgrade certain items or convert them into Dungeon Items. Each item level upgrade grants a +2% stat bonus, and if the item is a Dungeon Item, a +10% bonus while in Dungeons.
Dungeon Items grant stat boosts while you are in Dungeons based on your Dungeoneering Skill level.
Master Stars can only be applied to Dungeon Weapons that have all five ✪ Dungeon Stars added. They increase the Stats of your item by an additional 5% per star when in the Master Mode of any dungeon floor.
All this can be done by talking to Malik, Igor, or Alwin. Master Stars can be applied using an Anvil.
Both ✪ Stars and ✪ Master Stars appear in the item's name.

Miscellaneous
Some upgrades are item-specific and not available for all Weapons.
- Fragments
- Wood Singularity
Fragments
Some Weapons can be upgraded with specific fragments, which increases their Stats.
You can upgrade your item with fragments by crafting them together in a Crafting Table.
These upgrades are portrayed by a ⚚ in front of its name in the same color as its Rarity.
The Wood Singularity can only be applied to Wooden Swords. It both increases the Rarity of your Wooden Sword by one and increases its Stats by +100 Strength.
You can apply a Wood Singularity to your Wooden Swords with an Anvil. Only a single Wood Singularity can be applied to any given item.
The Wood Singularity's bonus appears as a gold (+100) next to your item's Strength Stat.

Cosmetics
Some upgrades are fully cosmetic and do not offer any gameplay benefits.
- Runes
- Book Of Stats
Runes apply a cosmetic particle trail to your Weapons while walking around.
You can apply Runes to your items with the Runic Pedestal. Only a single Rune can be applied to any given item.
Runes appear as ◆ Rune Name 1 under the Enchantments on your items.

The Book Of Stats adds a cosmetic kill-counter to the lore of your item.
You can apply the Book of Stats to your items by combining them in an Anvil. Only a single Book of Stats can be applied to any given item.
You can differentiate items with the book of stats from items without by the kill counter in the lore.
