The Starter Lava Rod is an UNCOMMON Fishing Rod.
It is the first Lava rod the player can unlock and use. These allow you to participate in Lava Fishing on the Crimson Isle.
Obtaining
The Starter Lava Rod can be obtained from Odger for free at Odger's Hut on the Crimson Isle. It can then be purchased from him afterwards for 10,000 Coins.
