Professor Robot is an NPC in the Lost Precursor City, which guards the Sapphire Crystal. He wants you to rebuild the broken Automaton Prime because it appears to have hidden secrets.
Dialogue
First Interaction
- This citadel used to be the epicenter of fructuous engineering.
- The inhabitants, Precursors as they were once called, laid the foundations for future technologocial advancements and new discoveries.
- However, they have been extinct for eons - only leaving the remnants of the Automatons behind.
- One rather peculiar discovery is Automaton Prime - the giant robot towering above me. The exact purpose of it is unknown, although it appears to be guarding something.
- There seem to be 6 key components to the giant that are missing.
- Each part - the Electron Transmitter, FTX 3070, Robotron Reflector, Superlite Motor, Control Switch, and a Synthetic Heart - plays a distinctive role in the creation of this behemoth.
- I think Automatons nearby are built with similar components. Find them and bring them to me!
First Interaction (if you have collected the Sapphire Crystal before)
- Bring me all 6 key components to the giant so that I can repair it!

He will then list all the components you haven't brought him yet.
If you bring him a component
- Thanks for bringing me the X component! Bring me X more components to fix the giant!
Once you bring him all the components
- You've brought me all of the components.
- I have uploaded them to the giant below... it appears it has opened its storage compartment!
- Perhaps the long-lost Sapphire Crystal is in there.
