If there are already pearls for you to collect, the game will tell you:

There are pearls left in the matriarch!
Applying the parfum like this could confuse the beast and cause her to implode.

If you have already used the perfume twice that day, the game instead tell you:

You've already used perfume twice in the last 24 hours!
You have to wait, otherwise the smell might stick to you forever!

Otherwise, you will be able to consume 3 new Heavy Pearls.
