The Forge is a location in the Dwarven Mines located next to the Forge Basin.

Purpose

Upon reaching Heart of the Mountain II players will gain access to The Forge allowing them to refine and cast many new items, including, tools, weapons, armor sets, pets, accessories, and much more!

Mechanics

The Forge is a crafting GUI with 5 unlockable slots accessed through the Forger NPC.
Players start out with 2 forge slots when they unlock The Forge. Further forge slots are unlocked upon reaching HOTM III, HOTM IV, and after unlocking Peak of the Mountain tier 2.
Refining or casting any item in The Forge requires some amount of time. Players may additionally select the Quick Forge perk in the Heart of the Mountain skill tree to hasten up the time items get created in The Forge by up to +30% when the Quick Forge perk is maxed.
