There are three races that can be completed:

There are four available race settings excluding Runback. For each race setting there is four time trials which varies between each race.

Rewards
Completing each time trial will reward 
Wither Essence. The amount earned depends on how many times you've completed that race with the same settings before. This caps at 4 times.

Completing 4/4 time trials for one race will reward the 
Cat Talisman. Completing 4/4 for a second race will reward the 
Lynx Talisman, and completing 4/4 for a third race will reward the 
Cheetah Talisman.
