Obtaining
The first tier beacon can be crafted in a crafting table after reaching Mithril IX. Beacons through tier 2 to 5 can be forged in The Forge after a certain HOTM level is reached.

Without the Quick Forge Heart of the Mountain perk, forging Beacon II takes 20 hours, Beacon III takes 1 day 6 hours, Beacon IV takes 1 day 16 hours and Beacon V takes 2 days 2 hours.

Usage
Beacons can be powered using a Power Crystal or Scorched Power Crystal to gain 48 hours of power. They grant various small positive effects to the player anywhere in SkyBlock. They also buff the speed of minions while the private island is loaded.

Trivia
- The achievement Beaconator 2.0 is awarded upon activating any type beacons.
- There used to be an old beacon obtained via glitches, that old beacon was made useless and its lore was changed to "A cool cosmetic imitation of the real thing!" after the Dwarven Mines update released.
- When playing in Minecraft version 1.14 or higher, the Beacon Fuel icon inside of the Beacon's UI will be a Blast Furnace rather than a regular Furnace.
